RadioWest’s 2023 Summer Book Show

With summer here, it’s time once again to gather our trio of booksellers, who are full of good ideas about what to read poolside this year.

As usual, we’re joined by veterans of the trade Betsy Burton, Catherine Weller, and Ken Sanders. Get ready for eagerly awaited new novels from Salman Rushdie and Abraham Verghese. Or if you want lighter fare this season, maybe Peter Heller’s new thriller is for you. And if you’ve got big plans to up your baking game, check out “Sweet Enough: A Baking Book” by Alison Roman. Plus tons more. We hope you’ll join us this Friday at 12 p.m.

The King’s English will host an in-person discussion and book signing with Abraham Verghese at the First Baptist Church of Salt Lake City at 777 S. 1300 East on Wednesday, June 14 from 6-8 p.m. You can find details here.
