Monday, we’re talking about a new documentary that chronicles the fight over same-sex marriage in Utah. The brash and unlikely activist Mark Lawrence was determined to overturn Utah’s gay marriage ban, even though many said there was no way the Mormon Church would let that happen. But Lawrence built a team that changed the story of Utah’s LGBT community, though he burned a lot of bridges along the way. Directors Holly Tuckett and Kendall Wilcox join us to talk about their film, Church & State.

SCREENING UPDATE: Park City Film Series will screen Church & State on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. The film will be followed by a Q&A. That's at the Park City Library. Tickets and more information are available through the Facebook event.

On Wednesday, July 18, there will be a Q&A following the 7 p.m. screening. It's hosted by Mormon Stories.
