How much can you know about someone just from hearing their voice? According to journalist John Colapinto, more than you might think.
In his book, This Is the Voice, Colapinto writes that our voices convey much more than just one timbre or another – they communicate our personalities, our moods and our backgrounds. In short, he told us, our voices are us, and speaking, he reminds us, is an amazing thing to be able to do.
