Wednesday, we’re revisiting the story of Melvin Dummar, who died earlier this month. Dummar never backed down from his claims that one winter night in 1967 he found Howard Hughes lying in the middle of the Nevada desert, drove him to Las Vegas, and was rewarded years later by being included in the eccentric billionaire’s will. Our guest, former-FBI agent Gary Magnesen, spent years investigating Dummar’s story. He says it’s time to close the book on the tragic tale of Melvin and Howard.

Gary Magnesen is a former FBI agent and the author of two books about Melvin Dummar and Howard Hughes. His latest is Stolen Justice: The True Story Behind the Howard Hughes Will [Indie bookstores|Amazon]
