Prophet's Prey

Monday, Doug talks with director Amy Berg about her film Prophet’s Prey. It’s an exposé of the rise and fall of Warren Jeffs, the self-declared prophet of the FLDS Church. The film recounts the dogged efforts of numerous people—including the writer Jon Krakauer, and Sam Brower, a private investigator—to shed light on Jeffs’ incredibly secretive polygamous community and ultimately bring the man to justice. (Rebroadcast)

On Friday, September 11 at 8:00 p.m., Prophet's Prey will screen at the O.C. Tanner Amphitheater in Springdale, Utah as part of the DocUtah International Film Festival. Following the film, Doug Fabrizio will host a Q-and-A with Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes, private investigator Sam Brower and former members of the FLDS Church. DocUtah gets underway Tuesday, September 8. For information on Prophet's Prey and other films in the week's line-up, visit docutah.com
