Our guest is author Tom Clavin, who says it was an 1867 Harper’s Magazine article about a gambling dispute and a quick-draw duel that spread Wild Bill’s reputation as a sharp-shooter. But that fame also made him a target for men with their own dreams of glory. Tom Clavin is coming to Utah, and joins us to separate fact from fiction in Wild Bill’s life. The real stories may be better than the made-up ones.
