Wrapping up the 2023 Utah Legislative Session

The 2023 Utah Legislative Session concludes at midnight on March 3rd. We’re processing what lawmakers did—and didn’t—get done this time around.

One of our guests is Salt Lake Tribune columnist Robert Gehrke. During this session, he’s observed that the so-called “Utah Way” of governance may be giving way to a style of politics more often seen in other conservative states, characterized by anti-transgender bills and rejecting all things “woke.” Meanwhile, problems specific to Utah — like the continuing decline of the Great Salt Lake — remain as urgent as ever. Join us this Friday at 11 a.m. as we process the 2023 Utah Legislative Session.

GUESTS:

  • Robert Gehrke | Columnist with The Salt Lake Tribune; @RobertGehrke
  • Ben Winslow | Reporter for Fox 13; @BenWinslow
  • Holly Richardson | Columnist with Deseret News; @hollyonthehill

Airdate: Friday, Mar. 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
