Through the Lens: All That Breathes

Utah Film Center

Out of the polluted skies over New Delhi, India, birds of prey known as Black kites fall to the ground. Two brothers care for and rehabilitate them.

That’s the premise of the film “All That Breathes.” But this is one of those documentaries that defies easy description. Better to say, maybe, that it’s a visually mesmerizing, beautiful meditation on the interconnectedness of life — of all creatures that breathe the same air. We’re screening “All That Breathes” on April 5, at The City Library in downtown Salt Lake, and this Friday at 11 a.m., director Shaunak Sen joins us to talk about the film.

Please join KUER and the Utah Film Center for a free screening of “All That Breathes” on Wednesday, April 5, at 7 p.m., followed by a Q&A with Doug and director Shaunak Sen. Here are the details.

GUEST:

  • Shaunak Sen, director of “All That Breathes.”
