The controversial bills — including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion — will kick off the 2024 Utah Legislative Session.

But the meat and bones of this year’s session will be found in Governor Cox’s budget requests — aimed at addressing housing (35 thousand starter homes in the next four years) and homelessness. This year, legislators are not only tackling the budget and other bills, but planning for the 2034 Olympics, more growth and an upcoming election. Sean Higgins, Robert Gehrke and Holly Richardson join us for a preview of the 2024 Legislative Session.
