If you’re into food writing or follow celebrity chefs, the chances are good that you've run across British food star Nigella Lawson. But how much do you actually know about her work?

Today, we're talking with Lawson about her career, passion for food and what she believes makes a good meal. In the 1980s and '90s, she was a successful food critic and journalist, but it wasn’t until the publication of her first book, "How to Eat," in 1998 that her career skyrocketed. Soon thereafter, she landed her own cooking show and has since written a number of best-sellers, earned writing and TV awards and become a household name.

Nigella Lawson is coming to the Eccles Theater on Nov. 18 for a conversation on stage with Doug Fabrizio. And this Friday at noon, Lawson joins RadioWest for a conversation about her latest book and work.

Nigella Lawson is the author, most recently, of "Cook, Eat, Repeat: Ingredients, Recipes, and Stories" [Amazon|Indiebound|Bookshop].
