Almada’s 2021 documentary “Users” opens with a shot of a crying baby, Almada’s own child. We watch as an automated bassinet rocks it back and forth. Soon, her baby is fast asleep, more quickly and consistently, perhaps, than Almada’s efforts could achieve. Is the bassinet better than she is? Throughout her film, Alamada considers this question and others about how technology and artificial intelligence are changing us, and how interconnected we’ve become with such things. We’ll talk with Natalia Almada about what she discovered and about her film “Users” Friday at 11 a.m.
