Lawmakers are rushing an anti-D.E.I. bill through the 2024 Utah Legislature.

If things continue on the current trajectory, Utah’s public schools, universities and government agencies will have to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. The University of Utah has already adjusted their policy to exclude diversity statements in hiring. We are discussing where this all started, the position higher education is in and why D.E.I. is so controversial.
