Augusto Góngora was a beloved Chilean journalist who documented the lives of the Chilean people during the Pinochet regime. In 2014, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. His wife, the actress Paulina Urrutia, cared for him through memories of their relationship. Their journey is documented in “The Eternal Memory,” our latest film in our Through the Lens series. Join us for a conversation about telling the story of memory and love.
We will screen “The Eternal Memory” at the Salt Lake City Public Library at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 21st. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Dr. Christine Cliatt Brown and Melissa Mauchley from the University of Utah Cognitive Disorders Clinic.
Tickets are free, but RSVPs are appreciated as the event is filling up fast. Details here.
