You’ve probably heard that Elon Musk thinks we should establish human colonies on Mars. The people in his camp see life off-planet as the way to save humanity. But Kelly and Zack Weinersmith say we should pump the breaks. Life on Mars, they argue, could be awfully grueling — especially if you’re a fan of bone density.
And then, a conversation with the writer Katherine Rundell, whose focus is more earthbound — particularly on the amazing animals that inhabit this planet, but might not forever. She wants you to fall in love with the pangolin, as she did, and to realize that, really, there are no ordinary animals at all.
