John Curtis speaks at the 2024 Utah GOP Nominating Convention at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, April 27, 2024.

John Curtis took his place in the United State Senate on January 3 of this year. He’s joining us to talk about his life in politics and his vision for Utah and the nation.

Sen. Curtis replaces a towering figure in Utah’s political landscape — Sen. Mitt Romney. Romney’s final days in office were characterized by his unapologetic stance against President Donald Trump. So, one of the questions Curtis faces is: Will he follow in Romney’s footsteps? His voting record says no, but Curtis doesn’t agree with the President on everything. He thinks Trump spent too much money during his first term, for instance. Plus, Curtis may be something of an environmentalist. We’re speaking with him at the start of his six-year term in office.

GUEST –

Sen. John Curtis | Junior United States senator from Utah.
