Ever since it was proposed in 2013, the Bears Ears Monument has inspired a fight nearly as immense as the region’s redrock walls. People on all sides have shouted for years to be heard by Washington, to claim their part of the lengthy human history etched on the canyons and sagebrush plateaus. In a new documentary, filmmaker Nancy Green brings those voices together to show the nuance behind the passionate arguments for and against the monument. She joins us Monday to talk about the battle over Bears Ears.

Nancy Green's new documentary Battle Over Bears Ears premiers Monday, November 12 at 8 p.m. on KUED Channel 7 in Salt Lake City. DETAILS
