Monday, we’re talking about the conservative case against the death penalty. Though you may associate “law and order” with the right, there are a lot of conservative principles that fit squarely into an argument against capital punishment. And the ranks of Republican opponents are growing. A poll last year showed 64% of Utahns support replacing the death penalty with life in prison. We’ll talk about the shift in attitudes over the last 50 years, and efforts here in Utah to change the law.
