Ken Sanders is something a legend in the state of Utah. He raised hell with radical environmentalists, roamed the desert and ran rivers with Ed Abbey, and established himself as a noted antiquarian bookseller. He’s also a great storyteller.
Ken Sanders’s parents liked to say he was born with a book in his hands. The self-declared comic book king of his 5th grade class, Sanders is now a noted antiquarian bookseller and something of a legend in the state of Utah. He raised hell with radical environmentalists in Southern Utah, roamed the desert and ran rivers with Ed Abbey, and helped fuel Salt Lake’s counterculture in the 1970s and ‘80s. Sanders joins us Thursday to tell stories and talk about the many chapters of his fascinating life.
