Thursday, we continue our Through the Lens series with something a little different. This time it’s not a documentary; it’s a full-length feature that director Jim Cummings created out of his short that was a sensation at Sundance in 2016. A small-town police officer gives a eulogy for his mother and ends up singing and dancing to a Bruce Springsteen classic. It’s called Thunder Road, and like the song, it’s about not being a spectator and taking control of your life.
Join us Wednesday, January 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center as we present a free screening of Thunder Road. It's part of our Through the Lens series with Utah Film Center.
