RadioWest and Utah Film Center have partnered to present the best in documentary filmmaking. We talk with established and new directors who are changing the way audiences see the world and then screen their films.

Life in a Day

Tuesday we continue our Through the Lens film series with the documentary "Life in a Day." In a partnership with Youtube, director Kevin MacDonald invited people from around the globe to record their lives on July 24, 2010. The film's editor Joe Walker says they never anticipated the overwhelming response. Some 30,000 people submitted video equaling more than 4,500 hours of footage. Walker joins us to talk about the process of creating a portrait of our planet from so many points of view.Thursday, October 20, RadioWest and the Utah Film Center will host a free screening of "Life in a Day" at Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in Salt Lake City and at the Pleasant Valley Library in Ogden. The film begins at 7:00 p.m. at both locations. [Salt Lake Details] | [Ogden Details]
