Have you ever heard footsteps in your house or had the feeling that someone was with you – even though you know you're home alone and the doors are locked?  Many of us have had strange experiences we try to shrug off. Utah State University folklorist Lynne McNeill says we're simply intrigued by the unexplainable though and telling stories help us try to make sense of it all. So Tuesday, we're telling some of Utah's ghost stories and asking why they endure in a supposedly rationale world.

Guests:

We ran out of time before we could play all of our ghost stories, but we've collected the ones that didn't make it on air for your listening enjoyment. Thanks to everyone who contributed!
