Dave Eggers' Satirical 'Captain And Glory'

Writer Dave Eggers has written scores of news articles about his time following Donald Trump on the campaign trail, but to help him make sense of what he has experienced, he turned to satire.

Since August of 2016, writer Dave Eggers has been following Donald Trump’s campaign, from his days as a presidential hopeful to the now-current president’s rallies as he campaigns for a second term. Although Eggers has written scores of articles about his findings, he turned to satire to help him make sense of his experiences. His book is The Captain and the Glory: An Entertainment.
