Stories of near-death experiences are not uncommon, but science generally dismisses them as tricks of the brain. But is dying really the end of consciousness?
Dr. Bruce Greyson is our guest today. As a physician, he was skeptical of patients' accounts of unusual experiences when they were on the verge of death. But he also couldn’t explain why, after these moments, some of them had knowledge they couldn't have had previously. So, he began to research. Decades later, Greyson believes dying may not be the end after all; rather, it could be a transition from one form of consciousness to another. Dr. Greyson joins us this Friday at noon, and Saturday at 11 a.m., to talk about dying, and what might come after.
Bruce Greyson’s book is After: A Doctor Explores What Near-Death Experiences Reveal about Life and Beyond [Amazon|Indiebound|Bookshop].
