Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and we’re marking the occasion with a conversation about indigenous foodways.
Our guests are chef Freddie Bitsoie and writer James O. Fraioli. They’re the authors of a new cookbook that celebrates the unique cuisines of the many Native American tribes around the country. Of course, there are plenty of recipes — for chocolate bison chili and prickly pear sweet pork chops — so you can mix up your Thanksgiving offerings.
