After managing to flatten the curve of coronavirus infections earlier this summer, a spike in cases that curve is starting to look much more like the state’s topography of valleys and mountains.
“This is the first time we’ve rolled backwards,” Governor Gary Herbert said in a recent press conference. He has announced additional restrictions for cities in Utah County where young people are driving an increase in COVID-19 cases. In the first hour of the show, we’re asking what’s driving the recent outbreak and how leaders are responding. Could it and should it have been prevented from happening in the first place?
