RadioWest 20th Anniversary: The Human Voice

Jonathan Hickerson

RadioWest commemorated its 20th anniversary this week with a live show celebrating the human voice. If you couldn’t join us, don’t worry — we recorded the event.

MIT Media Lab researcher and voice expert Rébecca Kleinberger was our guest. She joined us on-stage for a conversation about how our voices affect our identities, how we hear ourselves, the power of our inner voices, how our voices can connect us more deeply than our ideologies and — of course — why hearing ourselves in a recording can feel so uncomfortable. Tune in this Friday at noon and Saturday at 11 a.m. to hear the full interview.

Airs: Nov. 12, 2021 at noon and Nov. 13 at 11 a.m.
