Who doesn’t remember Mr. Rogers and trips to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe? In a documentary screening in Salt Lake this week, director Morgan Neville explores the life and philosophy of the television icon. It was Fred Rogers’ wife Joanne who told Neville not to make Fred out to be a saint in the film because he wasn’t. But he was a person who respected children and built a career with love “at the root of everything.” Morgan Neville joins us to talk about Won’t You Be My Neighbor? (Rebroadcast)
