How To Talk About Climate Change
Facts and statistics, Hayhoe says, aren’t enough to shift climate deniers' hearts and minds about our changing planet. In fact, overwhelming people with data can increase polarization. Shaming, too, doesn’t work, and fear can result in inaction. Finding shared values, though, may help generate collective energy to avert environmental disaster. Katharine Hayhoe joins us this Friday at noon to explain how talking about climate change can alter the future. (Rebroadcast)
