On Monday night, the online news magazine, Politico, published the first draft of a U.S. Supreme Court opinion that, if accepted, would create a very different future for abortion rights in the United States. The draft, if issued as law, would overturn Roe v. Wade — the court’s 1973 decision that protects a woman’s right to terminate a pregnancy.
