The Covid-19 pandemic upended just about every system we rely on, including the chain linking farmers to chefs. A new documentary examines the farm-to-table relationship.

Food and Country” is one of the documentaries premiering at the Sundance Film Festival this year. Director Laura Gabbert followed famed critic and food writer Ruth Reichl on a journey to discover the people on the front lines of the struggle to grow and provide the food we eat. Along the way, Reichl critiques the policies that produce cheap food at the expense of the people who actually make it. Join us this Friday at noon for a conversation with Laura Gabbert and Ruth Reichl.

"Food and Country" premiers at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 23. For information on how to attend a screening, go to festival.sundance.org.
