State lawmakers have been extraordinarily busy in the first half of the 2023 Utah Legislative Session.

The session wasn’t even two weeks old when lawmakers passed a ban on gender-affirming healthcare for transgender youth, and created the largest school voucher program in state history. Both are highly partisan measures that, according to one of our guests, reflect fundamental changes in the makeup and approach of the state legislature. A panel of local reporters joins us to discuss what’s happened on Capitol Hill so far and what lawmakers will be working on in the coming weeks.
