Objections to the gondola run the gamut. Some say it’s too expensive. Others say it will deface the canyon, that it will only serve the ski resorts, that it would ruin valued climbing spots, or that it will only foist the canyon’s traffic woes onto nearby communities. Carl Fisher, the director of Save Our Canyons, claims the gondola would “undoubtedly destroy” Little Cottonwood.
