Incumbent-mayor Erin Mendenhall says her administration has steered the city through unprecedented challenges and tackled hard issues like homelessness and housing affordability. The leading opponent to her re-election, Rocky Anderson, couldn’t disagree more. While touting his two-terms as mayor in the early 2000s, Anderson rails against Mendenhall for leading the city into a “humanitarian crisis” of homelessness.
