There is a new format for the Utah Legislative session —  start with the most controversial bills up top. However, now that we near the end of the session, important bills are still in flux.

The 2024 Utah Legislature kicked off the first two weeks with bills on DEI and transgender legislation. Then they moved on to energy, water, the Great Salt Lake, housing and the budget. In the last weeks of the session, a new conversation began – funding stadiums and arenas for pro sports. This Thursday, join us live as our panel — which includes State Street co-hosts Saige Miller and Sean Higgins, Holly Richardson from Utah Policy and Robert Gherke — will walk us through this year’s legislative session.

Guests:

Sean Higgins | KUER’s politics and government reporter and co-host of "State Street"

Saige Miller | KUER’s politics and government reporter and co-host of "State Street"

Robert Gehrke | The Salt Lake Tribune

Holly Richardson | Editor of Utah Policy and a columnist with Deseret News

Airdate: Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024 at 9 a.m. and Saturday March 2 at 11 a.m.
