RadioWest’s 2024 Summer Book Show

Bill Sokol
/
Library of Congress

With summer upon us, it’s time again for a “RadioWest” tradition — gathering our trio of local booksellers to get you set up with all their favorite reads for the season.

If you’re in a punk rock mood, Weller Book Works’ Catherine Weller recommends “Rebel Girl,” by Bikini Kill frontwoman Kathleen Hanna. For you outdoor enthusiasts, The King’s English cofounder Betsy Burton offers up Kevin Fedarko’s “A Walk in the Park” about one hell of a misadventure through the Grand Canyon. And for those of you in the mood for something more local, Ken Sanders Rare Books owner Ken Sanders suggests “A Cowgirl’s Conservation Journey” about Utah-native Heidi Redd. If none of that floats your boat, fear not: We’ve got a lot more books to share with you.
