Wednesday, we’re talking about Mormon worthiness interviews. These conversations with lay-clergy determine if Mormons can enter the Temple, go on a mission, or attend Church-run universities. And even for pre-teen members the questions can be sexually explicit and sometimes traumatizing. This weekend, writer Elna Baker explored her own experience for the public radio program This American Life. She’ll join us to tell her story and the stories of other women who have gone through this experience.
