Through the Lens: An Honest Liar

James "The Amazing" Randi is a renowned magician and escape artist, but he can't abide charlatans. So he turned his energy to exposing psychics and con-artists with intricate investigations and hoaxes of his own. His story is the focus of a new documentary by Salt Lake filmmaker Tyler Measom, the latest in our Through the Lens film series. It's about Randi's crusade for truth and how all of us, even "The Amazing" Randi himself, are susceptible to deception.

On Wednesday, May 7, RadioWest and The Utah Film Center will present a free screening of AN HONEST LIAR, and Tyler Measom will join Doug for a Q&A immediately following the film. The event is at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center [map] in downtown Salt Lake City. It begins at 7:00 p.m., but you should arrive early to get a seat. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Invite your friends to the screening via our Facebook event page.
