Could medical marijuana ever be a reality in conservative Utah? Tuesday, we’re talking about the politics, popular opinion, and policies surrounding legalizing cannabis. First, we’ll start with the history of marijuana policy, and how 29 states have come to allow its medical use. We’ll then turn to Utah, where the Governor, the Utah Medical Association, and the LDS Church have voiced opposition to an initiative which seems likely to be on the ballot this fall.
