Federal Employees in the Crosshairs

A recent investigation by High Country News uncovered dozens of cases of threats and violence against federal employees managing public lands in the West. According to the magazine’s editors, given the ugly nature of our national politics and the hostile rhetoric coming from the political fringes, it’s only a matter of time before more people get hurt. Tuesday, we’re talking about what inspires hatred of federal employees in the West, Utah’s role in that conflict, and what can be done about it.
